OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to ensure the smooth operation of our office, contributing to a positive work environment and enhancing overall productivity. This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in various software applications, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in administrative support, office management, or bookkeeping.
  • Knowledge of payroll processes and basic accounting principles.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • General computer knowledge and comfort with technology; experience with QuickBooks is considered a strong asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-focused mindset.
  • Professional, positive, and reliable work ethic.
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $25.95-$29.76 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Greet clients and visitors with a friendly, positive attitude.
  • Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and general inquiries.
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations.
  • Process payroll accurately and on time.
  • Assist with financial record-keeping and reporting.
  • Maintain organized filing systems (both digital and paper).
  • Coordinate scheduling system for unionized employees.
  • Support the team with additional administrative tasks as needed.
