Acadian Ambulance is seeking a motivated, highly organized individual for the position of Administrative Assistant to the Regional Vice President in SE Texas. The selected candidate will also provide administrative support to the Operations Manager. This role requires a high level of attention to detail.   Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and the position will be located in Beaumont, TX.   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  This job description is not intended, nor should it be construed, to be an all-inclusive list of responsibilities, duties, skills or working conditions associated with the job.  It is intended to be a general description of the essential duties and requirements common to positions of this type and may be subject to change.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.   1. Generate reports for supervisory personnel. 2. Answer phones. 3. Take minutes of meetings. 4. Compose correspondence. 5. Prepare booklets, binders, etc. for conferences, staff meetings. 6. Schedule standbys for units, appointments, meetings, etc. 7. Data entry. 8. Assist medics with obtaining proper signatures. 9. Research billing history. 10. Assist with data entry regarding credentials. 11. Submission of Ordinances. 12. Assists in finding extra crews when needed. 13. Run errands for company. 14. Handle tours.   QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High School Diploma or GED.   2. Experience with Microsoft Office. 3. Ability to compose correspondence. INTERPERSONAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Maintain social, ethical and organizational norms. 2. Maintain good personal motivation; develop a sense of ownership of job tasks and results. 3. Must have a sense of urgency for all work performed. 4.
