Title: Administrative Assistant, Security
Salary: $52,883 - $66,104 - $72,714 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
Location: Coast Salish territories of Squamish, Musqueam and Tsleil-Waututh Nations- Metro Vancouver: Park Royal Office– On-site
Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway in Spring 2027.

EDUCATION AND OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Successful completion of grade 12 plus a certificate in office administration or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience

EXPERIENCE

  • Recent and significant experience in providing a full range of administrative support and services to a team, including a senior manager (recently defined as within the last 4 years, and significant usually defined as 2-3 years of experience)
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite of software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience in physical and electronic security systems is an asset
  • Experience in corporate insurance programs is an asset

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY

  • Knowledge of administrative services, processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of general principles and practices regarding document and file management, including tracking approaches and systems, confidentiality and security
  • Ability to analyse information and data to develop correspondence, presentations and other material
  • Ability to arrange meetings, engagement sessions, conferences, etc. including all aspects of logistics, document and materials, etc.
Responsibilities

As Administrative Assistant, Security, you will support security functions and activities through the provision of a full range of administrative support and services. You will work independently and assist with carrying out processes, procedures special assignments with minimal supervision. This role will provide you an opportunity to develop broad experience, skills and knowledge of organizational policies, procedures and practices.
