UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh is currently seeking a Full-Time Administrative Assistant - Senior. In this role, you will provide varied administrative support to our Dental Department. Applicants will be placed in the appropriate job title and salary withing the Administrative Assistant Career ladder, based on their individual experience and education. Starting Rate of pay for an Administrative Assistant - Associate is 19.60/hour. After a training / orientation, flexible work arrangements may be arranged. Responsibilities: Drafts and distributes correspondence, including meeting minutes and event communications, on behalf of leadership. Coordinates conferences and departmental events from planning through execution. Provides broad administrative support to the department and professional staff under general direction. Performs advanced administrative assistant responsibilities, including: Managing the supervisor’s calendar, proactively scheduling meetings, and ensuring smooth logistics (venues, catering, flow). Maintaining accounting and budget records, including expense reporting. Arranging travel as needed. Prepares reports for executives and the department, analyzing complex data and identifying trends. Reviews administrative processes and recommends improvements to enhance efficiency High school diploma or equivalent. 5 years experience in an increasingly responsible administrative support role. GME experience preferred. Orthodontics / Dental Experience preferred Ability to perform advanced functions in word processing, electronic mail/calendar, spreadsheet, presentation and database software. Working knowledge of accounting and financial principles and functions. Ability to use discretion and independent judgment.
