Office Hours: Our front office operates year-round, with office hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As the first point of contact at Shawnigan Lake School, the Administrative Assistant plays a key role in welcoming and supporting our vibrant community. In this role, you’ll provide a wide range of administrative support to colleagues, school leaders, parents, students, and visitors. Guided by our 4C’s of Curiosity, Community, Compassion, and Courage, you’ll bring a friendly, helpful approach to every interaction while ensuring the front office runs smoothly while assisting with a variety of tasks as needed.
The wage range for this position is $25 to $28 per hour, plus a full benefits package, and RRSP with employer-matched contributions (for employees working 30 hours or more per week), paid vacation, a flexible work environment, and a nurturing family-friendly workplace.

Play a key role in school life by assisting with special events such as Board Meetings, Awards Ceremonies, and Closing Week, including the organization of trophies and honour boards;Contribute to the overall success of the team by taking on additional administrative tasks as needed.
