POSITION OVERVIEW

Seniors Helping Seniors is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our mission of providing quality in-home care services to seniors. This dynamic role combines administrative support, client coordination, scheduling management, and marketing responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational abilities, strong communication skills, and genuine empathy for seniors.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred
  • 2+ years of administrative support experience
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with scheduling software or willingness to learn quickly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing concepts
  • Enjoy working with our senior population
  • Be a caring, empathetic, compassionate and reliable individual
  • Understand the importance of our services to our seniors
  • Have a positive attitude and be dedicated to our SHS mission

  • Previous experience in healthcare, senior services, or related industries

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES

  • Answer and direct phone calls professionally, addressing inquiries or routing to appropriate team members
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for client and caregiver documentation
  • Address questions on basic billing information and assist clients with service-related questions
  • Order and manage office supplies within established budget guidelines
  • Support management with special projects as assigned
