KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Willing to learn internal company operating systems & programs.
  • Strong proven track record in Accounts Receivables and Collections
  • Good accounting knowledge. Proficiency in MS Office - specifically Excel
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Analytical ability with an eye for details
  • General Mathematics Skills,
  • Able to work in a team environment; requiring flexibility
  • Great Plains Knowledge an asset.
  • Ability to multitask and priorities workload.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

The top candidate(s) will be required to undergo a security screening check conducted by Sparkle Solutions Human Resources. The process involves a background investigation that includes Criminal record and other pre-employment reports including work references from previous employers, driving abstract verification etc.

Responsibilities
  • Completes a wide variety of Administrative & Accounting tasks for ACCOUNTS MANAGER & COO.
  • Handling matters expeditiously, proactively, and Complete follow through of required tasks.
  • Enter Sales Orders/invoicing/credit notes.
  • Conduct collection calls on overdue accounts on a regular basis & report collection problems to the accounts manager.
  • Ongoing communication with customers is required.
  • Help maintain electronic/manual filing procedure.
  • Recording orders/order entry.
  • Inventory Transfers.
  • Process Credit Card payments as required.
  • Data Entry with high level accuracy.
  • Verifies validity of account and billing discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information reporting to accounts manager.
  • Respond to inquiries and requests for information from internal and external parties.
  • Liaison with other departments or managers when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned by Accounts Manager.
