Administrative Assistant, Standards – Permanent Part-time (21 hours per week) About the opportunity Canada’s reporting and assurance standard-setting system is currently in a transition period as it evolves toward a new, independent governance and operational model. During this period, foundational structures and supports are being put in place to enable the future organization that will oversee and support Canada’s standard-setting system on an ongoing basis. We are seeking a permanent part-time Administrative Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to senior leadership, staff, board and oversight participants involved in this work. The role supports day-to-day operations and governance activities during the transition and contributes to the effective functioning of the standard-setting system. This hybrid role is national in scope and can be aligned to any of our CPA Canada offices or can be fully remote within Canada. The annualized full-time salary range for this position is $60,800-$70,935 plus benefits and will be pro-rated based on a 60% work week.    What you'll do In this role, you will: * Help manage the production and distribution of Board and Committee volunteer meeting materials * Create and edit documents and correspondence and ensure priority matters are dealt with on a timely basis * Coordinate meeting and event arrangements including negotiating contracts and supporting webinars * Use project management software to assist the staff with managing various projects  * Format Microsoft Word and PowerPoint documents * Monitor multiple shared e-mail mailboxes * Manage the shared department calendar and support staff and Chair calendar management as needed * Update reporting documents and website content including data collection and analysis * Develop, monitor and report on the budget and related processes * Liaise with key senior-level external contacts and Standards staff * Nurture relationships with the volunteers * Proofread materials and minute taking of Committees and embracing the utilization of CoPilot * Maintain and update “volunteer/client” database  * Coordinate and facilitate departmental special projects What we're looking for The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: * Post-secondary in Business or equivalent experience and education * 3 to 5+ years of administrative experience * Project management experience  * Exceptional organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills * Excellent interpersonal skills with superior verbal and written communication abilities * Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office; particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint * Excellent proofreading ability with a keen eye for detail * Full fluency in English is required * Bilingualism in French and English would be a strong asset   What it's like to work here We’re proud to foster a welcoming and inclusive workplace that celebrates diversity and promotes health and wellness for all employees.
