We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Purchasing Department. In this role, you will play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly by managing data entry tasks and assisting with departmental administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial plumbing supplies, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a detail-oriented environment. Responsibilities Accurately enter and maintain purchasing data within company databases and systems Audit reports, verify purchase orders, and track deliveries to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment Support the wholesale purchasing team with administrative and clerical functions Maintain detailed records of orders, pricing, and inventory updates Communicate effectively with suppliers, service technicians, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies Monitor outstanding orders and follow up on pending items to ensure completion Assist with other departmental projects and duties as assigned by the supervisor Requirements Minimum of one year of recent clerical experience within a plumbing, wholesale, or construction environment (preferred) Proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM alphanumerically Proficient in proofreading and auditing with strong attention to detail Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a service and construction company providing customer service throughout California and other states.
