The Sunshine Coast is enjoying continued growth both in population and infrastructure. Sure Psychology is also burgeoning, and with a recent move to our own purpose built five (5) consulting room Private Practice in the heart of thriving Buderim, we are seeking to appoint a mature, motivated and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant that is dependable, competent and efficient to support our Practice Manager. The position will commence in a part-time capacity consisting of 8-10 hours, split over two days. These hours may increase in time in line with our operational needs. We can offer school hours and choice of working days for the right candidate. The successful candidate must also have flexibility to cover annual and sick leave when required.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

Our administrative team is the first point of contact for our clients and are the foundation of our business. As part of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, and support our psychologists and Practice Manager.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Front desk administration including answering phones, making appointments and attending to email enquiries in a timely manner;
  • Processing payments and claims for Medicare, DVA, WorkCover and ADF/OA via HICAPS, PRODA, BUPA iRBS and WorkCover QLD portal;
  • Meeting and greeting clients and their families with warmth and compassion, offering tea/coffee on arrival;
  • Diary management for the clinical team;
  • Sending correspondence to GP’s, specialists and other third-parties;
  • Scanning and uploading correspondence and ensuring details are correct and up to date;
  • Promoting a positive team culture and professional image for the clinic;
  • Maintaining confidentiality at all times;
  • Social media marketing; and
  • Supporting the Practice Manager with any additional tasks as required.
