TAG Engineering is a boutique consulting firm providing Mechanical, Electrical, and Fire Protection engineering services to clients in the building industry. We are growing across the Lower Mainland and beyond, and we’re looking for a proactive Administrative / Executive Assistant to support our team and principal.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • 2+ years’ experience in an Administrative Assistant or similar role.
  • Secondary school diploma (post-secondary an asset).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • QuickBooks experience is an asset.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

This is a hands-on role for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll handle a wide range of administrative tasks, support project delivery, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • General office administration (phones, email, filing, scanning, courier, printing).
  • Drafting, formatting, and proofreading documents: reports, proposals, contracts, tenders, drawings, and spreadsheets.
  • Scheduling meetings, site visits, and project discussions.
  • Timesheet and expense tracking; maintaining project databases (Excel, Zoho, Monday.com).
  • Electronic records and file management.
  • Event coordination (staff meetings, office socials).
  • Bookkeeping support: entering vendor/client data in QuickBooks, invoicing, AP/AR follow-up.
  • Executive support for the Principal.
