Description We’re seeking an upbeat individual to join us to join us at Havenwood Care Center, home to approximately 60 nursing home residents. They are the first person to greet visitors, new residents, future employees, and vendors when they arrive at Havenwood or call on the phone. They share a front office area with the Business Office Manager, and provide support to the Director of Nursing (DON), Administrator, and Department Managers. Duties would include assisting the DON to fill open shifts as assigned, contact staff about missing punches on their timecards on a daily basis if needed, running errands, putting together report packets for meetings, laminating documents, etc. Status: Full-time Temporary position at 72 hours/2 week pay period (Position is May - July) Hours of Work: 8 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Flexibility in taking one full day off per pay period or two half days to get to 72 hours in 2 week pay period Union Status: Non-union position Reports to: Director of Nursing and Administrator Core Responsibilities Contacting nursing staff to fill shifts daily, as needed Contacting staff to fill in missing punches Answering facility phone Greeting visitors and directing them to resident rooms/common areas Assisting Administrator, Director of Nursing, and department managers with clerical needs Additional Responsibilities Inventory office supplies monthly Assist with projects, such as developing forms, entering information into dietary software, etc. Wide variety of duties in the position Skills & Experience Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work with a variety of people Strong clerical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to multi-task Prior scheduling or administrative support experience preferred, but not required Benefits Available 401k Benefits. Responsibilities
