We are looking for Administrative Assistant(s) to provide a range of support services including document preparation, data entry, customer service, and other related duties. The Administrative Assistant Pool positions are temporary positions; working a casual/as-needed schedule based on operational requirements at the Iron Ore Company of Canada site in Labrador City, NL.

Reporting to the leader, which varies based on the assignment, you will be:

  • Work safely in accordance with Rio Tinto safety standards – actively engaging in safety initiatives and promoting our “Zero harm” safety culture
  • Perform data entry to ensure accurate information is promptly captured in appropriate information systems
  • Accurately maintain manpower, overtime and records
  • Establish and maintain office filing systems, files and records; assemble information upon request; direct other employees in file maintenance procedures
