Description The Administrative Assistant will work as part of Austen Riggs, providing administrative support, coordinating family communications, and helping to facilitate care for patients and their families. This role serves as an integral part of the team, ensuring smooth communication, organization, and follow-through within a mission-driven environment. Working closely with their department, this position will play a key role in supporting day-to-day departmental operations, coordinating family meetings, assisting with technology needs, and helping to organize educational events for families. Responsibilities • Provide warm, professional verbal and written communication with families, patients, and staff. • Coordinate and schedule family meetings and department activities with care and attention to detail. • Provide technological support for virtual meetings and educational events (e.g., Zoom). • Organize virtual family education events. • Support department projects, recordkeeping, and other administrative needs. • Collaborate with team members to maintain a well-organized, supportive work environment. • Contribute to special projects and initiatives that enhance the family and patient experience.
