JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Google suite. The Administrative Assistant will play a key role in enhancing productivity and efficiency within the school environment.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced office environment is preferred, with a focus on administrative tasks.
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records and files.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with colleagues and clients alike.

Responsibilities
  • Manage Google drive for the school.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date and organized.
  • Utilize QuickBooks for basic accounting tasks, including invoicing and tracking payments.
  • Assist with filing and maintaining physical and digital records for easy retrieval.
  • Coordinate field studies and service learning opportunities for classrooms.
  • Fleet management for school vans.
  • Drive a school van several times a week to/from Asheville.
  • Support the preparation of reports and presentations by gathering necessary data and materials.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless communication and workflow across the organization.
