SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team supporting a contract at the Pentagon. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, providing administrative support in a cleared environment.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a high-security environment, preferably supporting the DOD.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with managing and developing SharePoint pages.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must have an active Top-Secret clearance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and supervise activities for extended periods.

As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.

Responsibilities
  • Provides administrative duties such as - records management, taking phone calls, scheduling appointments, tracking staff actions.
  • Experience working independently on projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts and other presentation materials.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior staff and departments within the Pentagon.
  • Manage and coordinate schedules, appointments, and meetings.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Maintain and organize files, records, and documentation.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of events and meetings.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reports.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
