The Ministry of Justice is responsible for providing a fair justice system that upholds the law and protects the rights of all individuals in Saskatchewan, promotes safe and secure communities, and provides legal and justice policy advice to assist government.
The Public Prosecutions branch within the Ministry of Justice is seeking a skilled, ethical, and confident individual to work at Public Prosecutions Head office to provide comprehensive clerical support to the Director of Administrative Operations. Our candidate of choice will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a keen sense for detail.
As administrative support, you will type correspondence/reports and will respond to internal Human Resource related inquiries; coordinate meetings and record meeting minutes; plan, schedule and co-ordinate travel and logistics for meetings and other events; and photocopy and file documents. Accuracy, empathy and confidentiality in all that you do is a must in this position.
Using exceptional client service skills, you will greet walk-in clients and telephone callers, providing them with accurate information in a professional and respectful manner ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.
You must be a creative and principled individual who enjoys using your advanced secretarial skills. As the successful candidate, you must have the demonstrated ability to use a wide variety of computer applications, and knowledge and skills related to office and administrative procedures and protocols, including the ability to interact with colleagues and challenging clients with diplomacy and integrity.

A background in accounting and human resources is considered an asset. Typically, this knowledge would be obtained through an administration certificate and/or diploma.
