JOB OVERVIEW:

Are you fluent in Excel, Google Drive, sarcasm, and let’s get it done aggressive calendar invites? Do you enjoy deciphering cryptic one-line emails that end with “fix this”? Then congrats, you might be just ready enough for this role.
We’re seeking a highly competent, unflappable Assistant to support our VP—a leader who tells it like it is. You’ll be the go-to problem solver, tech whisperer, and spreadsheet ninja.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency in Excel, Teams/Outlook, and explaining how Google Docs sharing works for the 5th time
  • Critical thinking skills sharp enough to cut through corporate fluff
  • Thick skin, dry wit, and a finely tuned nonsense detector as well the ability to figure it out, often with zero context and a deadline of “yesterday”
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal, adept at proofreading documents for clarity and accuracy. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to advance their career in a dynamic environment while supporting executive-level operations.
    This position will require two days’ training in all departments including web processing, retail and WH during the onboarding period for a better understanding of who we really work for: our teams.
Responsibilities
  • Interpret vague requests like “make this better” into actual deliverables
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • Ability to work and communicate with a large team
  • Plan and execute changes rapidly, electronically verbally and without drama.
  • Build Excel sheets in all formats and upload them to google drive.
  • Manage calendars, emails, and internal communications
  • Provide tech support for when “it just stopped working” (no, she didn’t touch anything) including printers, back-end inventory issues and anything else.
  • Participation in job support for all areas of the business when required, including administration, customer service, and even web order picking on Black Friday.
  • Handle confidential information discreetly and professionally (despite wanting to tweet about it)
