Job Overview: The Admin Assistant role at A&K Railroad Materials is an entry-level position within our Trackwork group. This role supports the building and maintenance of railway infrastructure by organizing, recording purchase orders, and ensuring the availability of essential materials. Responsibilities: Organize and maintain accurate records of purchase orders, plans, and product information. Collaborate with various teams and departments to prioritize projects and ensure timely delivery of materials. Assist with basic accounting tasks related to materials procurement and inventory management. Utilize Microsoft 365 and other software tools to manage data and track inventory effectively. Multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet project deadlines. Support inventory counts and maintains accurate inventory records. Work closely with cross-functional groups to provide product information for bids and other requests. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. Detail-oriented with excellent prioritization skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
