We’re looking for someone with initiative, attention to detail, and the drive to take a task and run with it, even when working with limited supervision. We want a self-starter who thrives on getting things done.

  • Proficient with office software (Google Workforce, Gmail, Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks, etc.)
  • Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.

The successful applicant must live in Kamloops, BC and have full working rights in Canada.

Responsibilities

We’re expanding and looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role will start as a permanent seasonal position, with the goal of growing into a full-time role as your skills and responsibilities develop. We’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us and be part of the team for the long term.

Some of your duties will be:

  • Be the warm, welcoming first point of contact for clients, customers, and visitors.
  • Answer incoming calls, determine the purpose of the call, and transfer or take messages as needed.
  • Support our Accounts department with data entry, accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), document filing, and project material tracking.
  • Maintain stock levels of office essentials (tea, coffee, paper towels, stationery).
  • Review SiteDocs to ensure our team has completed their daily safety documentation.
  • Keep PPE consumables stocked and organized.
  • Coordinate employee training, track certifications, and send reminders.
  • Take on general administrative tasks and data entry projects.
  • Occasionally run errands to support the team.
  • Keep the office, including the boardroom, clean, tidy, and presentable (we have a weekly cleaner, but daily upkeep will be part of your role).

You’ll be part of a supportive, close-knit team that values collaboration and initiative. As you grow with us, you’ll have the opportunity to take on more responsibilities, particularly in accounting support, while continuing to handle some reception duties.
