Description WDJT-TV, Weigel Broadcasting’s CBS affiliate in Milwaukee Wisconsin is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support the Vice President/General Manager. The ideal candidate must be incredibly organized with the ability to use independent judgment, work well under pressure and adjust quickly to the fast pace of a television station. Must communicate professionally at all levels, verbal and written, fostering relationships with employees, management, clients, and vendors and be proficient in Word, Power Point and Excel. Requires a natural problem solver that is solution orientated with proven success in a professional support position. Requirements Understand the GM’s schedule and priorities, proactively providing support and resources to maximize their time and effectiveness. Timely and accurate FCC reporting. Provide full-service travel coordination, researching, securing and communicating reservations, and following up throughout the process to create a smooth travel experience for station employees and guests. Planning, scheduling, and hosting meetings for the station by managing invites, securing resources, preparing space and ordering catering. Process expense reports and invoices. Manage tracking of station contracts. Organize distribution of station correspondence and gift items. Assist management team with purchase orders, departmental and station initiatives, and other support needs. Assist receptionist greeting visitors, managing phones, mail, and supplies as needed. Responsibilities

The Administrative Assistant will support the Vice President/General Manager by managing their schedule, coordinating travel, and planning meetings. Additional responsibilities include processing expense reports and assisting with various departmental needs.
