SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Grade 12 education (or equivalent) plus a minimum of 1-year related switchboard or reception experience, or the equivalent of education and experience
  • Excellent computer skills - MS Office applications; AS/400 an asset
  • Proficiency in learning new software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Mobility between nearby locations as required.
  • Be a team player with excellent people and leadership skills

WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US

As the Administrative Assistant based in Winnipeg, we are currently looking for a self-motivated individual to become an integral part of our team at our Winnipeg branch. If you want to work in a dynamic team environment and you excel when being trusted with responsibility, then Westburne is the place for you.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO:

  • Answer all incoming calls and direct to the proper individual or department.
  • Manage end-to-end processing of customer returns and vendor returns.
  • Handle accounts payable inquiry resolution.
  • Issue customer credit notes, and preparing and processing invoices.
  • Offer general assistance and information to callers on banner products, locations, addresses and contacts.
  • Greet and acknowledge all visitors / customers that enter the reception area.
  • Provide administrative support to the team.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service, responding to customers’ needs in an efficient, accurate and professional manner.
  • Manage Customer inquiries
  • Receive and distribute daily mail, reports.
  • Ability to cross train with 2 other team members for holiday coverage and relief
  • Other duties as assigned.
