Education:

  • Community College Diploma in Business Administration: Bachelor’s Degree preferre

Experience:

  • 1 year of experience providing administrative support in a business office settin

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required and confidence dealing with all levels of an organization
  • Ability to establish effective routines for excellent communication with all members of the team to maximize productivity
  • Proven ability and natural inclination to interact with people in professional, respectful and diplomatic manner
  • Self-motivated multi-tasker with strong organizational skills
  • Positive, outgoing attitude with genuine customer service orientation
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative and follow through on work assignments
  • Familiarity with University policies and procedures preferred
  • Written and verbal communication skills to clearly express ideas in an objective manner, and adapt communication style to suit the situation and audience
  • Strong attention to detail and proofreading abilities with an excellent command of the English language

Responsibilities:

The Program Assistant provides administrative support to multiple Paediatric Programs, including Paediatric Fellowship programs in Genetics, support to the Rural Paediatrics Committee and other tasks as assigned by the Managers in Paediatrics. The incumbent is reponsible for general administration, including provision of assistance with teaching and meeting scheduling/booking, as well as Zoom setup, tracking and following up on evaluations. The successful applicant will assist with organizing rotations, assessment of residents, portfolio, program evaluation, faculty evaluations and Maintenance of Accreditation.
Qualifications

Education:
