Join Our Team as an Administrative Associate in Family Medicine! Are you a detail-oriented and compassionate professional looking to make a difference in a family medicine setting? We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. Your organizational skills and friendly demeanor will help us provide exceptional care to our community. Responsibilities: · Greeting patients as they arrive for their appointment. Gathering patient demographic and insurance information and entering this into the electronic medical record system. · Document management: fax-in-box, attaching documents into the patient record, scanning documents into the patient record, collecting of paper forms and distributing them to the medical providers. · Answering phone calls: Patients, staff, and other Health care professionals. Transfer calls, take a message, and if it is a patient call document the call in the electronic medical record. Take off voice mail messages, check patient portal messages and send to the appropriate provider. · Open all mail and address as needed. · Collect copayments, cash and credit card payments, and balance payments at the end of the day. · Check patients out after seeing the physician: Provide patients with a written visit summary, prescriptions, lab orders, x-ray orders, and referrals to specialists. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-4:30PM, 8:15AM-4:45PM, & 8:30AM-5PM. Traveling Requirements: Must be able to travel to all three offices located in Washington, Canonsburg, and Cecil PA. High School diploma or equivalent. Up to one year administrative experience preferred. Working knowledge of word processing, electronic mail/calendar, spreadsheet, presentation, and database software. Ability to use applicable MS Suite products. Knowledge of business processes and procedures. Ability to use basic reasoning skills.
