Coreworks is hiring immediately for a full time ADMINISTRATIVE BOOKKEEPER position.

  • Location: Brightwood Club - 100 Brightwood Club Drive, Lutherville Timonium, MD 21093
  • Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm. More details upon interview.
  • Requirement: Previous accounting and bookkeeping experience is required. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is also required.
  • Pay Range: $32.50 per hour

JOB SUMMARY

Summary: The Administrative Bookkeeper plays a critical role in maintaining accurate and timely financial records for Brightwood Club. This position is responsible for overseeing financial transactions, preparing reports, analyzing property performance, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience working with QuickBooks/Micros & Oracle
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field
  • Proven ability to train, coach and mentor critical staff
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel – meaning Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, IF Statements
Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for individual properties and the overall portfolio.
  • Analyze property income and expenses, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for financial optimization.
  • Process and reconcile accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
  • Manage accounts receivable, track resident payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets
  • Monitor financial performance against budgeted figures.
  • Prepare financial forecasts and projections to support strategic decision-making.
  • Input and approve AP invoices
  • Validate POS reports
  • Enter payroll journal entries
