Description

Aston Carter's client in Edmonton is seeking an Administrative Clerk to join their team! This individual will be responsible for creating freight bills, processing orders, forms, applications, and requests. This role involves updating forms and reports, managing customer accounts, and obtaining, evaluating, and handling all relevant information to resolve inquiries and complaints promptly. The successful candidate will direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource, communicate and coordinate with internal departments, follow up on customer interactions, and answer telephone inquiries. Occasionally, extended hours may be required. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Key Responsibilities Create freight bills. Process orders, forms, applications, and requests. Update forms and reports. Manage customers' accounts. Obtain, evaluate, and handle all relevant information to resolve inquiries and complaints promptly. Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource. Communicate and coordinate with internal departments. Follow up on customer interactions. Answer telephone inquiries. Work occasional extended hours as required. Perform other duties as required. Additional Skills & Qualifications MUST HAVE 1+ year of customer service or administrative experience. Proficiency in Excel for basic data entry. NICE TO HAVE Experience in the trucking or transportation industry. TruckMate software experience Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edmonton, AB. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.63 - $21.63/hr.
