JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Clerk to join our team. The Administrative Clerk will be responsible for providing administrative support to various departments within the organization. This is a part-time position with regular office hours pertaining primarily to morning shifts and including coverage for holidays or sickness of fellow admin staff when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Highschool diploma
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or clinical setting.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and compassionate demeanor.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of healthcare billing processes is an asset.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Handle billing and insurance claims, verifying insurance coverage, and processing payments accurately.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Assist therapists with clerical tasks, such as preparing treatment rooms, managing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the clinic.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, faxes, and mail.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative procedures to improve clinic operations and enhance patient experience.
