WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Responsibilities

The Administrative Co-Ordinator will work as part of the team to manage all purchasing for the company. Through issuing purchase orders to internal and external vendors, the successful candidate will work to lower company costs and ensure all required materials are ordered in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for co-ordinating customer shipments, based on specific customer requirements.
Main responsibilities:
1. Handling all purchasing for the Cobourg division
You will be responsible for analyzing requirement reports to issue purchase orders to internal and external vendors. Utilizing JobBoss ERP system, you will fulfill all open requirements based on the purchase type the system is indicating.
2. Strengthening vendor relations
You will act as the main source of communication for all company vendors and shipping companies. You will need to work to build trusting relationships with contacts, resulting in strong business relationships.
3. Organizing shipment to customers
You will review paperwork received from the production floor to ensure the packing requirements for each customer are met. You will be responsible for reaching out to the customer, or shipping company provided to schedule a pick-up of the goods ready for shipment. Your responsibility will include going into the production shipping area to put packing lists and labels on the skids ready for shipment.
4. General office administration to support the team
You will handle scanning, laminating, sign creation and more to support the team. Scanning and filing of all receiving documentation for purchasing will be a daily task in this role. Utilizing Microsoft Share Point to ensure all documentation is available for the required members of the team.
