Debbie’s Staffing is now recruiting for an Administrative/Community Relations for our client located in Winston-Salem, NC.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour, Long Term Position and Weekly Pay!

Position Summary: The Administrative/Community Relations role provides high-end administrative and coordination support for community engagement activities, HR initiatives, and corporate social responsibility programs. This role supports the execution of community-focused events and initiatives in alignment with corporate social responsibility goals. Working under limited supervision, the position combines the organizational expertise of an executive assistant with the planning skills of a project manager to ensure seamless operations and impactful community engagement.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Preferred HS + 3 years relevant work experience OR Bachelor’s degree + 1
  • Preferred HR Certification.
  • 5+ years of related administrative, project coordination, or community engagement support experience.
  • Highschool or equivalent vocational/technical training in a relevant field (e.g., communications, public relations, nonprofit studies).
  • Ability to work independently within defined procedures and support multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in planning and executing events.
  • Advanced project coordination skills (e.g., scheduling, task tracking, coordination support).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); comfortable with digital tools such as social media platforms or collaboration software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support the execution of community engagement programs and events, ensuring alignment with corporate social responsibility objectives.
  • Manage complex scheduling and calendar coordination in Outlook and Teams, including organizing meetings, setting agendas, and tracking follow-ups.
  • Handle complex expense reporting through internal applications with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Develop, distribute, and track online surveys using multiple platforms to gather stakeholder feedback.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for new hires on their first day, providing building tours and welcoming them to the organization.
  • Assist with or eventually conduct on-site and virtual new hire orientations.
  • Provide logistical planning for projects, including stakeholder outreach and vendor coordination.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to support community-focused initiatives.
  • Maintain organized documentation, reports, and program tracking for events and HR activities.
