JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re hiring a contract Administrative Coordinator! In this position, you’ll support daily operations across the supply chain team: managing front desk interactions, coordinating schedules, and providing vital administrative support. If you’re organized, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma in Office Administration or equivalent qualification (preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year of receptionist or front desk experience (preferred)
  • Experience within the Beef or Dairy industry is preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Experience with JDE, PowerBI, Bambora considered an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal abilities
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of standard office equipment (POS, printers, postage meter)
Responsibilities

Front Desk & Office Administration

  • Welcome and direct visitors with professionalism and warmth
  • Assist customers with walk-in requests as necessary
  • Handle inbound phone inquiries and ensure prompt communication
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail

Email & Calendar Management

  • Monitor and respond to inquiries via the Customer Service email inbox
  • Act as triage to coordinate workflow to Customer Service team members
  • Review calendar availability along with management to ensure adequate staffing

Operational Support

  • Ordering and replenishing office supplies as needed
  • Input and manage various forms of data across systems and spreadsheets
  • Provide back-up support to team members during absences or peak workload periods
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks as required to support department goals
  • Other related tasks or projects as needed
