We are seeking a professional and welcoming Manufacturing Administrative Coordinator to join our team. The Manufacturing Administrative Coordinator (Front Desk) will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, providing excellent customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requirements • Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department. • Answer and route incoming calls on a multi-line phone system in a courteous and efficient manner. • Manage the flow of correspondence (e.g., mail, packages, emails) and prioritize urgent materials. • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area, ensuring it reflects a professional image. • Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings for employees and management. • Coordinate conference room bookings and prepare meeting rooms as needed. • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and scanning documents. • Monitor office supplies and provide orders as necessary. • Provide general support to visitors, employees, and departments as required. • Assist with the daily operations of the company’s Apparel storefront, including welcoming and supporting walk-in customers. • Process, pick, and ship apparel and merchandise orders accurately and in a timely manner. • Support inventory coordination and order fulfillment activities related to the Apparel operation. • Partner with the Director of Apparel to support daily priorities, customer needs, and operational workflows for the Apparel storefront. • Support and participate in company events, which may include after-hours and/or weekend activities, as needed to support business operations This list is not exhaustive, and responsibilities may be subject to adjustment based on the evolving needs of the business. QUALIFICATIONS • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative or business coursework is a plus. • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, administrative support, or customer service role. • Experience supporting retail, storefront, or order-fulfillment activities is preferred. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and basic office systems. • Experience working with multi-line phone systems and office equipment. • Ability to communicate professionally with employees, visitors, vendors, and clients. • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. WORKING CONDITIONS • This position is based in a manufacturing and office environment with frequent interaction with employees, visitors, and vendors. • Regular exposure to a production setting, including noise, equipment, and moving materials. • Work is primarily performed at a reception desk and office workstation, with periodic walking throughout the facility. • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday. • Must be able to lift and move packages and apparel orders, up to 25 pounds, as required. • Standard business hours apply; however, flexibility is required to support company events, including occasional after-hours and weekend work. Schedule: Full-time, hourly/non-exempt, Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm This role is based on a boat manufacturing or repair facility.
