Program Summary: The Taimon Booton Navigation Center (TBNC) is our shelter and service center for transgender, gender non-conforming & intersex people, as well as cisgender women, to find sanctuary, community, and a pathway to housing. TBNC's gender-supportive facility offers refuge, belonging, and safety and is the only shelter in Northern California attached to a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). It is our hope that everyone who stays at TBNC leaves feeling safer, more supported, and on their way to stable housing.  Position Summary:   The Administrative Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the efficient functioning of the shelter Taimon Booton Navigation Center. This position involves providing administrative support to the Director of Shelter and site Supervisors and Case Management. The Administrative Coordinator will ensure smooth operations on a daily basis and contribute to the overall success of the agency mission.  Essential Duties: * Create, update and manage an inventory system of all shelter supplies * Order, manage and properly store office supplies and equipment for TBNC * Ensure the shelter is stocked at all times with all vital supplies * Make sure the kitchen is stocked with items, towels are stocked in supervisor’s office, and refrigerators are organized and tidy. * Work with outside vendors to make sure items we are receiving match orders placed * Make copies of keys * Resolve issues with office equipment, such as cell phones, laptops, printers, radios, time kiosk, by coordinating with and/or escalating to IT department * Process all reimbursement requests, check requests, Lyft rides and invoices into Microix for payment to vendors * Collaborate with various vendors that TBNC and SFCHC work with, such as Pest Control, Cintas, Veritiv, Furniture Assembly, SF Wash, etc. * Work with Site Director to make sure that operation expenses are within budget * Coordinate with other SFCHC locations for any operational needs * Ensure safety issues / concerns are brought up to Director’s attention and addressed promptly * When needed, support Director in employees’ timekeeping records * Complete other assignments as assigned.    Minimum Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent * Must be able to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time * Intermediate PC computer skills, especially MS Word, Excel and Outlook * Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of persons, documents, data and communications. * Comfortable and culturally competent in working with LGBTQ communities * Demonstrated reliability and good interpersonal, organizational, verbal, written communication skills. * Must be able to handle multiple tasks and have ability to work professionally and ethically within multi-racial and multicultural settings * Ability to provide customer service in an effective, courteous, and friendly manner and meet the needs of diverse internal and external stakeholders. * Attention to detail and initiative to improve processes * Up-to-date with vaccinations, especially COVID-19 and seasonal flu shot vaccine * Proof of TB clearance (issued within the past 12 months or less)   Benefits: * Competitive compensation * Comprehensive health, vision, and dental insurance * Company sponsored life, and long-term disability insurance * Generous paid time off including paid holidays * Company-sponsored retirement plan * Opportunities for professional growth and development EEOC Statement: San Francisco Community Health Center is an equal opportunity employer committed to identifying and developing the skills and leadership of people from diverse backgrounds.
