Administrative Coordinator Application Deadline: 4 December 2025 Department: Office of General Secretary Employment Type: Full Time Location: Grand Rapids, MI/Hybrid Compensation: $24.71 / hour Description PURPOSE: To manage administrative and office support activities within the Office of General Secretary with a focus on the Candidacy program. Provide administrative support to the Director of Candidacy and the Director of Partnership Administration. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Schedule appointments, answer and screen phone calls, and provide information as needed for the Director of Candidacy and the Director of Partnership Administration. Respond to general requests for information and materials and ensure proper handling of all general correspondence. Assist in coordinating and organizing all aspects of conferences. Work in close collaboration with Calvin Theological Seminary. Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations to ensure accuracy and clarity. Organize and maintain all correspondence, files, and records. Record and distribute minutes from assigned meetings convened by the Director of Candidacy and the Director of Partnership Administration. Prepare and process invoices, check requests, and expense reports. Complete routine copying, printing, and gathering of information. Work with appropriate departments to ensure information is correct and up to date on applicable websites. Input pertinent information into the applicable database system, as requested. Other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE: QUALIFICATIONS Able to support the mission, vision, and values of the CRCNA. Familiarity with the CRCNA governance, agencies, and/or Calvin Theological Seminary is preferred. Intermediate proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office. Demonstrated willingness to learn systems specific to the organization. Proven ability to organize tasks and responsibilities, including multitasking, setting priorities, and deadlines etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers and external contacts. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Some college coursework in a related field is required. Basic experience in event planning is preferred. Intermediate administrative office experience is preferred.
