Contract Details Days, 8hr days Monday-Friday 24hr guarantee PART TIME NEED Start Date: 4/20/2026 Contract: 13 weeks Location: Claremont, NH Weekend Requirements: None/Holidays required if needed Hourly Pay: $20.00 Non-taxed Stipend: $336.00 Weekly Total Pay: $696.00 **THIS NEED HAS A FIRM 24HR GUARANTEE ** This need is for a MEDICAL STAFF OFFICE COORDINATOR WHO ALSO MANAGES CREDENTIALING - ON SITE ** Claremont is only 95 miles from Boston, MA! ** Any/All RTO must be included in profile. Requests after offer may lead to rescinded offer The Medical Staff Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the medical staff office and credentialing functions for two affiliated critical access hospitals. This position ensures compliance with hospital bylaws, regulatory requirements (CMS, Joint Commission, etc.), and professional standards. The Coordinator serves as a liaison between the medical staff, administration, and governing bodies of both hospitals, ensuring consistent and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities: Manage initial and reappointment processes for all medical staff and allied health professionals. Verify credentials, education, licensure, board certifications, and work history in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Maintain accurate, confidential credentialing databases. Coordinate with department chairs and medical executive committees on privileging decisions. Medical Staff Administration Schedule and coordinate Medical Staff, Department, and Committee meetings across both hospitals. Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes, and follow-up documents. Assist in the development and maintenance of medical staff bylaws, rules, and regulations. Serve as resource for medical staff regarding bylaws, hospital policies, and credentialing. Ensure compliance with CMS Conditions of Participation and state regulations regarding medical staff processes. Prepare documentation for regulatory surveys and audits. Maintain records for peer review, focused/proctoring reviews, and OPPE/FPPE. Act as primary liaison between the medical staff, hospital leadership, and boards of trustees at local site and between affiliate and system sites. Facilitate communication between the two hospital systems to ensure alignment of credentialing and governance standards. Assist in integrating contracted, telehealth, and locum providers as needed across both hospitals. Other Duties Payor enrollment - Support payor enrollment, ensuring continuity and communication to ensure successful readiness to start. Provider onboarding – Coordinate and communicate provider start dates, and onboarding, working with Medical Directors, Senior Leaders, and medical staff. Medical Student and Learners – Coordinate and communicate medical student rotations, working with human resources, department leaders, and medical student academic centers. Compensation: Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible) Pay package details provided upon offer Requirements Minimum Requirements: Minimum 2+ yrs current medical credentialing experience is required Minimum 2+ yrs current Medical Staff Office experience is required Medical terminology experience is required Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field is preferred Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) and/or Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) is preferred Experience with CAHs, rural healthcare, or multi-site coordination is preferred Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need Perm address of candidate must be included in profile Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability Skills required: Knowledge of medical staff operations, credentialing, bylaws, and regulatory standards. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with credentialing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
