POSITION SUMMARY: Manages the designated service line and staff for a facility; ensures quality and full compliance with relevant policies and standards. Qualifications EDUCATION:  Master's Degree   CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: RN License in state of employment or compact   SKILLS: * Implementing and monitoring programs and practices for the delivery of safe and efficient quality nursing care for patients and their families * Ensuring consistent application of nursing services policies and standards throughout the organization * Monitoring patient outcomes and quality and effectiveness of therapy care * Overseeing performance of managers and teams; identifying and addressing staff training and development needs * Medical staff, department heads, and administrators in matters related to therapy service and strategies   EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3-5 years clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting and minimum of 5-10 years of healthcare management experience     NATURE OF SUPERVISION:  -Responsible to: Chief Nursing Officer   ENVIRONMENT: - Bloodborne pathogen A   Works in clean, well-lighted, ventilated smoke-free environment.  Subject to stressful professional relationships.  May involve some travel.  Requires knowledge of general safety standards.    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Subject to stressful professional relationships.  Working hours vary, with flexibility due to unexpected changes in schedule and emergencies.  Requires the ability to speak, listen, develop and communicate written materials.  Frequent prolonged periods of sitting. Extensive use of hands for writing and use of computer. Moderate physical effort (able to lift/carry up to 15 pounds).
