Description
The Administrative Executive/ Senior Executive plays a major role in providing highly responsible and efficient administrative support to the line manager. She/ He acts as a liaison between various schools/Divisions/Departments across the university and learners on various matters.
Main roles & responsibilities
- Compose and format documents, draft letters, emails, and internal communications in compliance with university established policies and guidelines.
- Maintain and improve institutional correspondence systems, ensuring efficiency and confidentiality.
- Establish effective communication mechanisms across units to support the achievement of departmental and institutional objectives.
- Coordinate with relevant internal divisions to streamline office activities, operations, and necessary approvals.
- Support decision-making processes by managing assigned matters with insight and discretion.
- Oversee special projects and initiatives as assigned, ensuring timely completion and high-quality outcomes.
- Organize and manage logistics for events including local and regional activities.
- Provide administrative support related to engagement with local associations and professional networks.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of academic materials, such as lectures, publications, or presentations.
- Deliver daily administrative support in line with internal policies and procedures.
- Manage official communication channels, including email and physical correspondence.
- Organize and maintain records of official agreements, memorandums of understanding, and other files.
- Maintain organized filing systems and ensure accurate documentation of all office records.
Required qualification & skills
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
3-4 years of relevant experience directly related to the job duties.
EDUCATION AND ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, MIS or any other relevant discipline from an accredited university.
