DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of the Regional Executive Director (Reg. ED), the Administrative Fellow (Fellow) will work with key administrative personnel in order to gain exposure to the management of Providence St. Joseph Health (PSJH) and its relationship within the broader healthcare landscape. The Fellow will be assigned to select projects related to the business and operations of PSJH. The Fellow will work directly with the PSJH Chief Executive, who will serve as the primary preceptor and will provide guidance and feedback on projects and opportunities. The Fellow and the Reg. ED will assess potential projects and collectively select which ones the Fellow will work on, keeping in mind both the interests of the Fellow and the needs of PSJH.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, Health Care Administration, Management, Public Health, Public Policy. Or Other equivalently relevant degrees from an accredited graduate program.
  • Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
  • Exposure to designing, managing and effectively leading organizational change initiatives.
  • Exposure to data collection, analysis, and providing written reports, proposals incorporating findings.
