A Day in the Life as an Administrative / Food Pantry Assistant: As an Administrative / Food Pantry Assistant, you will greet and screen all visitors, answer and direct telephone calls, and help eligible clients with their food pantry visit. Your day will involve: Answering telephone inquiries, determining needs, and making appropriate referrals to Agency programs. Greeting and referring visitors or callers to appropriate staff and/or Agency programs. Assisting eligible clients with their food pantry visit. Unloading USDA food shipments as needed, stocking and organizing the food pantry. Filing and completing general office duties as well other tasks assigned by the Area Center Site Coordinator. Your role will directly contribute to a positive participant experience and to the overall operation of the Area Resource Center. Requirements Qualifications to Be an Administrative Assistant in the Area Resource Center: To excel in this role, you’ll need: Experience: One year of prior office or customer service experience. Customer service skills and the ability to work with the public. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Computer skills using Microsoft Word, Teams, and Excel. Ready to Apply?
