Lake City Foods is a leading food manufacturing company committed to providing high-quality products to our customers. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administration and Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role will be critical in supporting our daily operations and ensuring the efficient movement of goods within the company.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in administrative and logistics roles, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software/systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail with a strong ability to problem-solve.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management practices is a plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A degree or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

WORK EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & SKILLS

· 1 to 3 years administrative/logistics experience.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications. General knowledge of QuickBooks would be an asset.
· Time management and organization skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy is a must along with strong verbal, and written skills.
Work hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $55,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Manage logistics operations, including coordinating shipments, inventory management, and transportation.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipping schedules, and supplier information.
  • Liaise with suppliers, customers, and transport companies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Process and track purchase orders, invoices, and other necessary documentation.
  • Assist with stock control, stocktaking, and replenishment of materials.
  • Support the production team by ensuring the timely arrival of raw materials and supplies.
  • Handle any administrative tasks related to HR, scheduling, and customer inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
