ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER Knee's Electrical Service — Marion, IN $45,000 - $52,000 / Year | Full-Time | On-Site ----- ABOUT KNEE'S ELECTRICAL SERVICE Knee's Electrical Service is a growing residential electrical company based in Marion, IN, serving four markets across Indiana. We are built on a foundation of Faith, Family, and Hard Work. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Administrative Manager to take full ownership of the financial and administrative operations of the business. ----- POSITION OVERVIEW The Administrative Manager is responsible for the day-to-day financial operations, inventory management, fleet oversight, and administrative processes that keep the business running. This is a hands-on role that requires a self-directed individual who takes initiative, maintains accuracy, and consistently follows through without needing oversight. You will work closely with our bookkeeper, coordinate with field and office staff, and report directly to the General Manager. Key Responsibilities: - Batch daily sales from CRM into QuickBooks and ensure same-day accuracy - Process customer payments and make bank deposits on scheduled days - Manage all accounts payable through Bill.com, ensuring vendors are paid on time and within terms - Run payroll each pay period: pull technician hours, calculate commissions and performance bonuses, verify accuracy, and submit to payroll provider - Record daily sales data from CRM including total sales, closing percentages, and average tickets per technician - Conduct weekly inventory counts, place replenishment orders, receive and verify shipments, and maintain system accuracy - Manage company fleet: vehicle registrations, insurance documentation, maintenance scheduling, GPS tracking, and fuel card reconciliation - Coordinate with the outside bookkeeper on monthly close, bank reconciliation, credit card reconciliation, and financial reporting - Manage business insurance policies, certificates of insurance, business licenses, and compliance across all service markets ----- QUALIFICATIONS Required: - Minimum 2 years of experience in office administration, or business operations - Direct experience with accounts payable processes and vendor management - Ability to read and interpret financial statements including profit and loss reports - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets including formulas and basic reporting - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple ongoing responsibilities independently - High attention to detail and a track record of accuracy in financial work Preferred: - Experience with QuickBooks Online or Desktop - Experience with Bill.com or similar accounts payable automation tools - Background in a trades or home services company (electrical, HVAC, plumbing) - Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar field service management software - Experience with inventory management or fleet administration ----- WHAT TO EXPECT This role is the sole administrative position in a growing company. You will not be answering phones or managing field technicians. Your focus is entirely on the financial and operational back office. You will be expected to manage your own priorities and maintain consistent, accurate output every day.
