Administrative/Marketing Specialist Internship Company: Plateau Forest Products Location: Bend Oregon Compensation: $20–$25 per hour (depending on experience) Minimum Commitment: 24 hours per week (flexible scheduling around classes) Company Overview Plateau Forest Products is a leader in the lumber and building products industry and one of the largest wholesale distributors in North America. As an employee-owned company, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality lumber solutions to our customers and suppliers. Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Administrative/Marketing Specialist Intern to join our team and assist in maintaining office functions. Position Summary This internship offers hands-on experience working directly with the Controller, supporting office operations, administrative functions, and company culture initiatives. It is a growth-focused role with ongoing opportunities to develop new skills, assume additional responsibilities, and advance professionally over time. Key Responsibilities Report directly to the Controller and assist with various administrative tasks Manage and maintain company social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) Utilize Canva and other digital platforms to support social media content and engagement Assist with Human Resources-related tasks and administrative support Manage training materials and onboarding information systems Oversee office organization, supply inventory, and general office management Support company culture initiatives and event planning Education & Experience Junior or senior in college Prior administrative experience is a plus, but not required Knowledge & Skills Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to work in a fast-paced environment Strong multitasking and time-management abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Canva) PFP is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, or other legally protected status.
