About the opportunity

The patient services department are a dynamic, friendly team of over one hundred staff who provide administrative support to the clinical areas across the hospital. There are often many opportunities to grow and develop your career.

  • The Administrative Officer plays an integral role in the functioning of MHW through the provision of exceptional customer service and administrative support.
  • In this role, you will be required to have flexibility to work across a number of shifts including weekends and public holidays.
  • Availability at short notice is required as well as the capacity to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week.
  • Attention to detail is necessary and intermediate computer skills with the ability to learn and utilise new software systems and programs as required.

  • A current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
