Monash Heart is a leading unified cross-site cardiology service of Monash Health located at Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong Hospital, Casey Hospital and at the newest premier site,Victorian Heart Hospital.

Cardiac Emergency Australia’s’ first on-site Cardiac Emergency with a 24/7 cardiac registrar and unique specialised emergency model will facilitate timelyand effective patient care. As the only 22 bed capacity with embedded cardiology services and integrated model of care, it will providestate-of-the-art technology, including Point of Care Ultrasounds (POCUS) such as bedside Echocardiograms to deliver patient centredmodern emergency care with access to cardiac care specialists.

As a talented and accomplished Ward Clerk, you will thrive working collaboratively within a truly welcoming and passionate cardiacemergency team. To ensure your success in this role, you will have following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:

  • Ability to record information accurately and in a timely manner including registering patient information, admissions, dischargesand booking interpreters and transport
  • Sound computer skills to undertake a variety of clerical tasks including Medicare billing for outpatient clinics
  • Excellent customer services skills and ability to remain calm and helpful in a challenging or changing environment.
  • Attention to detail coupled with ability to priority competing tasks and deadlines
  • Able to work autonomously as well as part of a wider multidisciplinary team
  • Availability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster across AM. PM and Night Shifts, Monday to Sunday require
