About the Mental Health Division The Mental Health Division forms part of Austin Health. It provides a comprehensive range of child, adolescent and adult mental health services to the areas of northeast metro Melbourne along with inter-regional and statewide specialist services, which are provided on both an inpatient basis and in community settings. About the role We are looking for an Administrative Officer within the Adult and older Adult Mental Health Service. Our roles can require moving to our other sites as required. A regular day will see you:    General and local area administrative tasks, data entry into requisite hospital information and administrative systems and records management Ensure that our services can meet the needs of consumers, family and carers and other stakeholders Front desk reception duties and providing customer service About you As the Administrative Officer, you will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence. You’ll bring energy and drive to your work and have a keen interest in developing your skillset. To be successful in this role, you'll bring with you: Highly organised with the ability to prioritise work and multi-task in a busy environment The ability to follow a prescribed workflow and escalate when necessary Proven effective communication skills both verbal and written Proficiency and expertise in computer operation including Office 365 (Microsoft Word, Excel).
