About the role We have an opportunity for an Administrative Officer to be part of our Executive Support Unit, People & Capability Command. The Administrative Officer provides a broad range of administrative services and leverages extensive command/business unit knowledge to support the business area’s program of work and facilitate the delivery of business operations The Executive Support Unit provides a range of high-level executive, secretariat and project support services to the Assistant Commissioner, People & Capability Command, based in Sydney Olympic Park. In the role, the successful candidate will liaise with key stakeholders, at all ranks, across the organisation. Responsibilities range from, but not limited to, the review, management and preparation of all correspondence and communications on behalf of the Commander, ensuring it is accurate and meets deadlines. Quality assuring incoming correspondence and maintaining accurate record keeping using corporate systems. Providing secretariat support to the Commanders meetings. Managing Medals and Awards recognition for the Command and involvement in events management.
