ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative/Procurement Assistant to join our team. This role involves a variety of administrative and procurement tasks to support our operations and ensure a seamless flow of supplies and services for our client camps.

  • Location: Fort St John, BC
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Starting Wage: $22/hr (plus mileage reimbursement)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; office administration certification preferred
  • Experience as an administrative assistant or similar role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail in data entry and document preparation
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Familiarity with Western-style cuisine to effectively assist in purchasing groceries and supplies for client camps.
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with reception duties, providing exceptional customer service to visitors and clients.
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Maintain office supplies and inventory
  • Monitor compliance with WorkHub regulations and assist with various safety tasks.
  • Update and maintain necessary forms to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Purchase groceries and various supplies for client camps, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct shopping for required items across multiple vendors, leveraging competitive pricing.
  • Efficiently box and prepare items for shipment to clients or camps.
  • Organize and manage receipts, ensuring proper documentation for operational flow.
