Description
What you’ll do at DBH Compile and maintain complete patient health records through concurrent and retrospective review. Ensure documentation accuracy, required signatures, and compliance with confidentiality policies. Organize medical and psychiatric reports, progress notes, assessments, and treatment plans in proper order. Support admissions, transfers, and discharges in coordination with clinical staff and state facilities. Manage file maintenance, retention, and release of information per state and federal guidelines. Prepare and update health record documentation, statistical and census reports, and patient data in the EHR system. Verify billing forms, correct record deficiencies, and report compliance issues related to Medicare/Medicaid and other pay sources This is an hourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit (union), with a pay range of 27 on the OCSEA Pay Range Schedule. Normal working hours are 1st shift 8:00am-4:30pm. This position is located within our 1101 Summit Road, Cincinnati, OH 45237 Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter. 1 yr. trg. or 1 yr. exp. in secretarial science or business office applications.
