As a key member of our firm, the tax-oriented position will assume an important role in providing a variety of services to our clients as well as supporting other team members. Day-to-day responsibilities may include file management, proofing financial statements, engagement letter creation, tax return assembly, scanning, receptionist back-up, and other duties as assigned and trained for. Requirements:

  • 3+ years of administrative support experience in a professional setting
  • 1+ year of experience in a public accounting setting preferred
  • Higher Education Degree in Accounting, Business, or related fiel
Responsibilities
  • Review and editing of financial statements to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance
  • Draft and prepare client engagement letters
  • Organize and compile completed tax returns and supporting documentation, including invoice creation
  • Electronically file tax returns through authorized platforms
  • Generate internal and client-facing reports summarizing financial data, filing statuses, and other key metrics
  • Document sorting and scanning
  • Records maintenance
  • Backup receptionist duties, as needed (phones, greeting clients, kitchen setup and cleanup)

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of administrative support experience in a professional setting
  • 1+ year of experience in a public accounting setting preferred
  • Higher Education Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
