Wangaratta Police Station requires an energetic and dedicated person to be part of the Administrative/Property team.
The successful applicant will be required to work in a team environment at Wangaratta Police Station, be a quick learner and able to self-motivate. The role will undertake the recording of administrative files internally and externally as well as the management and recording of seized and lost property.
The role reports directly to the Team Leader Administration and will have some contact and interaction with external stakeholders.
The successful applicant may be required on occasions to perform duties at other work locations within Eastern Region Division 4.

Responsibilities
  • Management and maintenance of manual and computerised systems, records and registers.
  • Preparation of a wide range of routine correspondence and other various types of transactions with follow-up as required.
  • Deliver a high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders via telephone and email enquiries.
  • Receiving, storing and disposal of property while maintaining highly accurate records.
  • Computerised purchasing, ordering and processing of inventory stock, general office stationery and equipment.
  • Working on Victoria Police databases / systems.
  • Other relatable duties as tasked.
