JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our dental office. This role requires proficiency in handling phone systems, electronic medical records, and familiarity with dental software such as Tracker.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a front desk role within a medical or dental office is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using phone systems and electronic medical records software.
  • Familiarity with Tracker is a plus.
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical administration is advantageous.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
  • Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and confirm patient visits.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Tracker systems.
  • Process patient payments and handle billing inquiries including dental insurances.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient office operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.
  • Stay updated on medical terminology and office protocols to assist in administrative tasks.
